Virgin launch mobile broadband service

Virgin has become the latest operator in the UK to enter into the mobile broadband market.  Virgin, who use T-Mobile’s HSDPA network, have pitched their service on a par with Vodafone – charging £15 per month for 3GB, with a £15 per GB out of bundle charge.  Their offering is only available on an 18 month contract. If you’re considering Virgin’s offer, you’d be better off dealing with T-Mobile directly – you get a wider choice of contract lengths plus if you go over your 3GB limit you won’t get charged (subject to TMo’s ‘fair usage policy’). You can find out more here.
