Fully featured Windows 7 based CULV laptop.

HP DV6

The DV6 is a low cost laptop from HP. Equipped with a Turion X2 CPU and an ATI 4530 graphics card, the notebook primarily satisfies basic needs such as video and music playback, but is also suited for computer games in a limited way, at least at reduced resolution and level of detail.

Toshiba L350

The L350 is a now-aging business laptop, first launched by Toshiba over 18 months ago. The performance is poor, even for its generation and lacks features found on its competitors.

Toshiba L500

The Toshiba Satellite L500 is a 15.6 inch laptop, sporting a HD LED TruBrite display running at a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.  The well-built, attractive laptop offers you a great looking laptop that's ideal for day to day use. 

Toshiba T130

The Toshiba Satellite T130 is a low cost laptop based on Intel’s CULV (Consumer Ultra Low Voltage) processors which Toshiba claim to offer better performance and features with a better battery life than previous laptops.  Toshiba claim the T130 will offer 11 hours of battery life from a single charge.  The T130 sports a 13.3 inch LED backlit screen with a resolution of 1,366 x 768.

Samsung R720

The R720 is Samsung's huge 17.3 inch laptop - ideal to use as machine to replace a desktop computer.  The screen supports a resolution of 1600 x 900 however it weighs just 2.9Kg.  The battery life, as expected from a laptop this size come in at around 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on how you use the machine.  Performance is decent, especially when considering the price of the laptop.

Samsung X120

The X120 is Samsung's first "Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage" laptop - based on Intel's new chip platform which should offer reasonable performance with excellent battery life.  The X120 has good build quality, a great screen and a comfortable keyboard, however it's let down by a battery life of just 2.5 hours.

Samsung R519

Samsung's budget laptop - offering a full size laptop for a price similar to a netbook.  The performance of the R519 is reasonable, you won't be able to play demanding games on this laptop but for day to day takes the performance is more than adequate.  The battery life comes in a very reasonable 3.5 hours.

Asus UL30

The Asus UL30 is a CULV-powered low-cost ultraportable laptop.  The device boasts a very generous 500GB hard drive, 4GB of RAM and a 1.3Ghz processor and most impressively an 8 cell battery giving real-life battery life of 9 hours.  Cracking.

Asus X5DC

The Asus X5DC is a 15.6 inch laptop with a well-specced 250GB hard drive and 3GB of RAM.  The low-cost laptop runs Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows 7.
