Hi,
I'm searching for drivers and installation instructions for my USB Modem 'Sierra Wireless Compass 885' on my Aspire One Linux. I replaced the Linpus allready with eeeubuntu. I hoped to have some drivers in this distribution.
Thanks for any help.
Hi!
Just if anyone is interested in experimenting with upgrades on modem, maybe this could help in saving time. I am using E272 and tried upgrading almost everything, various firmware in combination with different software. I was static and discovered my modem recieves the best and most important for me the most stable signal with firmware 11.311.04.01.00 and 3.2.2.182 vmc lite. Oh, just to know a one tiny thing, the anonymous stats should be unchecked for a bit faster transmission. And thats all! Try out and prosper, and keep up the work!
There isn't any solution for e172 model?
