The Vodafone APP is universal now. That's good.

As with the previous version you have to reboot your machine to make WIFI usable again after using a mobile connection. That's very very bad.

I'm sure the guys who made this driver&software package don't use this themselves... It's not Mac worthy all this rebooting... :-(

But, I am able to connect. That's nice...

Hi, I installed the linked drivers, the app works (detects the card correctly and installs the settings). However, when I try to do a connect I simply get a "No carrier" message. Any ideas?

(I've got a standard Huawei e870-based card from Vodafone UK)

Well i'm using this version, how did this site come about it before the vodafone business site?

The jersey site for vodafone has one.

So far (in 2 hrs) I have had a kernal panic and the laptop just simply black out and restart. We shall see....I have 14days before i decide to return the stick to Vodafone...

using macos 10.5.1 + e870 express card modem from vodafone uk + 2.08.05.04 vodofone mobile connect

i'm able to connect. sometimes i have to reboot before the express card is seen by the driver

i have to reboot if i want to use 802.11 wireless after using the modem

no other problems

it's crap, but maybe liveable with, since it's the only game in town as far as i can see

I don't have to restart to use wireless after using the e870 express card. Although I can't have GPRS/EDGE enabled, I have to leave it only on 3g. Because if it steps down to GPRS/EDGE my laptop will normal freeze or kernal panic within minutes. Leaving on 3g and all is fine.
