When I ran the install disc for o2 connection manager for windows 7, I encountered multiple problems with the connection.
Eventually, I got it to work. The software version on the disc is version 107. The version which can be downloaded from the o2 website is version 108.
However, problems may be encountered if you try to download version 108. I am unable to do this. My advice is simply this: if you are using version 107 and it works, DO NOT BOTHER TRYING TO DOWNLOAD VERSION 108, it may cause you more trouble that it's worth !!!!
My e169 modem works fine on version 107. It is preferable to set the preference to auto for o2Uk, and manual for Wi Fi.
Once up and running, the e169 works well if set up as I have suggested
