What will this flash of firmware do to my serial number and IMEI? Will this be preserved? Or will it wipe it? And also, will this remove branding from the software and drivers, that are stored on the device, that is installed when first plugged in?

Thanks,
Steven

Here is the latest firmware available (11.117.10.03.99) @ http://rapidshare.de/files/47569770/E220_11.117.10.03.99_Firmware.exe.html
& the latest dashboard available (UTPS11.030.01.03.297) @ http://rapidshare.de/files/47569676/UTPS11.030.01.03.297_MAC11.202.08.01.297.exe.html

The dashboard is to work with Dialog GSM Sri Lanka. Doesn't matter create your own service profile. It should work as normally as it is working in my Windows XP Pro system. The dashboard is much newer than the one that is available on Huawei.com

Thanks, UK here on 3 and upgraded to 11.117.09. following the above and it now reports 7.2Mb so this works.

I had previously unlocked my E22o for free using the instructions and software here http://unlocke220.com/

I put in my orange PAGY sim and I can connect over GPRS (slowly) but it works. Use the access bundle to cap at £1 per day though.
