Dell Inspiron 11Z

The Dell Inspiron 11z is Dell's entry into the 11.6 inch CULV market, and they've done a great job.  The ultra-thin 11z sports a glossy 11.6 inch screen, a comfortable keyboard and a multi-touch touchpad.  Dell are positioning the 11z as a low cost laptop to match the performance of a regular laptop, but with the portability of a netbook.  The battery life comes in at just 3 hours, a little on the low side for this class of device.

Dell Inspiron Mini 10

The Dell Mini 10 is the successor the incredibly popular Mini 9 and features a 10 inch screen.  The size is perfect for a netback offering the portability of the Mini 9, but with a better sized, more comfortable keyboard and it's more desirable than its 12 inch big brother for those on the go.  The Mini 10 also features an easy-to-use multi-touch pad, similar to those found on Apple's MacBooks.

Dell Inspiron Mini 9

The Mini 9 was Dell's first device in the netbook category, and they certainly did a cracking job.  The specification of the 9 inch netbook is similar to most in this price range however the Dell benefited from much better build quality when compared to its competitors.  The Mini 9 was offered in a range of colours and was also available as part of a mobile broadband deal from Vodafone - notably the Vodafone version of the Mini 9 sported an internal mobile broadband modem removing the need to carry around a separate device.
