The Germans really do things properly. T-Mobile's network is large, fast and reliable. They're also pipping Vodafone to the post for network quality, plus they've launched HSUPA (for high speed uploads and snappier web access) across their entire network.

T-Mobile's dongles are generally well spec'd - you can't get a better modem for your money than the USB Stick 530.  The daily price plans are simple to understand and offer cracking value.  You'll also get free WiFi access included in your deal - great news for Starbucks junkies.  Officially you can't use VoIP services, such as Skype on T-Mobile's 3GB price plan.

Perhaps the single, most valuable and unique feature of T-Mobile's price plans are that they're fair usage based. If you go over your data bundle you won't be changed automatically - hoorah! Although you'll probably get a polite phone call suggesting you move to a larger price plan
