Hi!
Just if anyone is interested in experimenting with upgrades on modem, maybe this could help in saving time. I am using E272 and tried upgrading almost everything, various firmware in combination with different software. I was static and discovered my modem recieves the best and most important for me the most stable signal with firmware 11.311.04.01.00 and 3.2.2.182 vmc lite. Oh, just to know a one tiny thing, the anonymous stats should be unchecked for a bit faster transmission. And thats all! Try out and prosper, and keep up the work!

Hi, Anyone has this problem of not being able to send truncated sms (more than 160 characters).

I am also unable to import all my contacts in the CSV file. I have 1400+ contacts but the program can only import 1000 contacts. Any newer software that can solve this 2 problems above?

Apparently the mainstream VMC software can do both but it cannot work with the E220 modem is that correct?

Re David from Kenya's query, I too would like to unlock my Vodafone USB stick lie - would email a query to Vodafone but can't get to their email site as it insists on a phone number starting with 07 which I have not got! Does anyone know an email address for Vodafone UK?

Ha,ha, I am too trying to hang off my balcony to get some signal! Moved in and was fine for two weeks, then after the two weeks when you can no longer return it.. it doesn't work, cuts out all the time, no connection, sometimes completely no signal!

How can they make you pay for something for another 18 months when it doesn't work?! I don't have enough time to wait for one email to send for ten minutes!!

Oops we've disconnected again, surprise! I will soon launch this thing off the balcony!!!
